Important Information by making payment you agree to our terms and conditions! Terms and conditions and the invoice and
the sketch must be signed 3 days after making payment.
All wendy houses or log cabins manufactured and erected by Royal wendys does have a 7 year Warranty on the workmanship if
treatment and guidelines has been followed.
FOR WARRANTY THE FOLLOWING MUST BE COMPLIED WITH: The Wendy houses should be treated with weather sealant 2
weeks after installation and every 6 months after that, all receipts must be supplied with the warranty complaint form. Should the
receipts not be available no warranty will apply.
Treatment of wendy house
Waksol or equivalent only to be used can be bought from any hardware store. Doors to be treated inside and outside (swelling
of doors and windows are not covered).
Corrugated iron will not replace if it rusts, client need to treat Corrugated iron to prevent rust.
Inspecting of wendy house.
When the wendy house is delivered an inspection form is supplied and the wendy house must be inspected with the delivery team while
they are on site. The inspection form must be signed as soon as inspection is over so the 7 year warranty can be applied.
Site preparation:
The ground must be fairly level with no obstacles in the way. Maximum height of bricks for the leveling
off the floor – not more (higher) than 3 bricks. There must be a 300mm working space available around the wendy house for the delivery
team to install.
DIY kits and self-installs not covered.
If the ground is not fairly level please RFQ on stilts or concrete slab. If the delivery team feel that it is not safe to install the wendy house
on the given place, we will need written consent of the client that you the client take full responsibility and no warranty will apply.
Doll houses
Painted doll houses only have a 2-year warranty for workmanship due to wear and tear and must be treated with a weather guard
product on the outside within 3 months from the delivery date, for example grip seal available in different colors, All receipts must be
supplied with the warranty complaint form. Should the receipts not be available no warranty will apply.
Additional information
Any Wendy or Log cabin that is customized without written approval from Royal wendys, your warranty will be void. No solar panel or
solar geysers are allowed to be installed on our Wendy’s or log cabins, due to the support structure. You the customer must build
additional support structures, no pipes or anything additional is allowed on the roof, doing this will void your warranty with immediate
effect. ALL CUSTOMIZATION NEEDS WRITTEN CONSENT FROM Royal wendys.
If any customization or stronger support structure is needed we can add it on the quote if mentioned on enquiry of quote.
If you the client request an untreated Wendy from us, you will only have a warranty if the wendy is treated or painted immediately after
installation.
All Wendy houses and any of our products we manufacture or install we retain the right to take pictures of our products when we install
them and use these Picture for marketing purposes, if you the customer don’t want us to use these pictures this must be negotiated and
approved in writing with Royal wendys before payment is made.
Dog kennels have no warranty and is sold as is (voetstoots).
Standard wendy house consist of:
Please note the Standard Wendy Houses include: 1.8m Wall height & the highest point 2.3m roof height, We also can upgrade the wall
height to 2.1m if requested on quote. (Recommended)
0.3 Galvanized Corrugated iron roof cover, ridging (flashing) is cut form flat sheet 0.4mm
Galvanized. We also have IBR 0.5mm roof.
Wooden floor FOR Knotty pine and Log cabin Wendy’s 19mm X 100mm wood (wos) ruff cut, might have small gaps
between planks, for proper wooden floors we offer knotty pine (20mm x 100mm) flooring get Quote. (recommended)
Internal frame structure is pine 25mm x 76mm or 38mm x 50mm, one Wendy style door with one barrel bolt for closing· One normal
size window·
Note that the veranda is an optional extra to any standard size building and is 1m wide whatever size Wendy you buy.
Erection of all Wendy Houses and Log Cabins, the client can purchase the bricks from us or can supply it to us. The bricks need to be
available at the time of installation. Please confirm from office how many you will need should you supply the bricks.
We will bill you for delivery before we erect the Wendy if we must come back to your premises @R20 per kilometer if the bricks are not
available at time of installation or if the site is not prepared as per conditions and we cannot install.
Location of Wendy house is at clients own risk, if the Wendy is not on a concrete slab or paving and on ground and sinks in We cannot
be held responsible for poor site choice.
The position or erection area of the Wendy house or cabin, regarding the municipal regulations is entirely the responsibility of the
owner/client.
If our staff is prohibited from completing their job due to the client telling them to leave in our normal working hours, for whatever
reason, the client/customer will have to get permission from Royal wendys in writing that we will allow our staff to return at a later date
to complete the job at no cost to you the client/customer,
However, no signed document from Royal wendys that agree in writing for our staff to return at a later date, then you the
client/customer have to pay so please get a quote from Royal wendys as to not be disappointed.
Prices are subject to change without prior notice. Quotes are valid for 5 working days, since date of invoice. Wendy house prices are
affected by the price we have to pay for the wood. If you are not satisfied with the product once erected (while our staff, is still on your
premises) you must inform us immediately so that we can inform our staff to rectify the Wendy house to your satisfaction.
We deliver according to your invoice, Refunds will only be giving if you adhere to the following terms as per the Consumer act, written
notice within 5 days from payment received, and we will charge a 10{ddb9081560f6166b7cf67857e0403603b4348254c31f8dcf05896a003e6f4cb2} administration fee to refund you for cost incurred by us, unless
work has commenced by us, we will calculate it accordingly. No refunds on customized Wendy’s once work has commenced. If the
Wendy house has been delivered we will rectify to
customer satisfaction and to our standard but unfortunately no refunds. If you did not specify any special conditions or instructions on
the manufacturing of the Wendy house then we will charge to remove the Wendy and bring it back and for the changes we need to
make, so make sure you specify it on your invoice. Any change to your Wendy house specifications after payment received will carry a
minimum of R500 PENALTY for any alterations and is non-refundable. It is your responsibility to make sure the invoice specify in detail
any special requirements that you may have we will not be held liable for any mistakes or errors if it’s not specified on the invoice.
Rather add too much detail than too little detail, to your invoice.
LIABILITY FOR DELAY
Any times quoted for manufacture, delivery, repair or replacements are to be treated as estimates only. Royal wendys, while making
every effort to meet such estimates, shall not be liable for any loss or damage what so ever and whether direct or consequential arising
from failure to manufacture, deliver, repair or replace any goods within such time, if we have to come back to the customer will be
invoice for travelling costs. @ R15 per kilometer each way and if needed food and accommodation for the workers. All deliveries are
weather permitting. For
Deliveries we will carry the panels a maximum of 30m to erect the Wendy’s any further we will charge a fee for erecting the Wendy
houses/goods. RFQ. When we get to the delivery site and there is insufficient space or another Wendy in its place, we will drop the
Wendy and you will have to assemble it yourself as we don’t remove other Wendy houses/goods or any other rubble. the Wendy does
fall or climb of the bricks no warranty will be applicable. If the Wendy is erected in a field or open space on bricks where a lot of wind
blows, and the Wendy house shifts tumbles or breaks, no warranty. We suggest stilts or concrete floor. To retain your warranty make
sure you adhere
to this warning, so not to be disappointed. No exceptions. If the distance or address is incorrect due to an error on your side for
whatever reason, when we quoted you, we have the right to refuse delivery till the correct amount is paid into our bank account, and we
will move your delivery to our earliest convenient time, as we work on a strict deadline, if we have to store your Wendy house/goods on
our premises we will charge you a storage fee of R1500 a month, as we build to order, we don’t store to order. Therefore it is not
advisable for a play area for children, knotty pine and log profile wood cladding is of a smooth nature and perfect for kids to play in, we
don’t take any responsibility if you or your child or any other person is injured in one of our Wendy houses/any other goods bought in
the mentioned wood types.
Payments:
We require a 50{ddb9081560f6166b7cf67857e0403603b4348254c31f8dcf05896a003e6f4cb2} deposit (we will only start manufacturing once the payment has cleared in our bank) and the outstanding 50{ddb9081560f6166b7cf67857e0403603b4348254c31f8dcf05896a003e6f4cb2} when
the delivery team is on site but before they start with the roof. NO EXEPTIONS!!!
No Cheque payments, if you pay with a Cheque, we will only start manufacturing and deliver the Wendy
house/goods only once the cheque have cleared. Special clearance is for your account.
DIY kits purchaser must ensure that you collect the correct Wendy and dimensions before leaving our premises, no refunds.
Wendy houses or any other goods purchased from us are not covered against acts of God, war or riots. We will take no responsibility
for any injuries, death, and damage to personal property or disability for whatever reason in our Wendy houses/any other goods
purchased from us. Our Wendy’s, Doll houses, guard
huts, tool sheds, are sold at owners risk and you the owner must assess the risk in using our Wendy’s, and make it save if your children
or family will be using the Wendy’s, doll houses or guard huts, tool sheds, Wendy’s doll houses guard huts and tool sheds are sold
without any personal injury warranty, liability therefore it is the purchasers responsibility to ensure that the Wendy’s, Doll houses, guard
huts, tool sheds is safe to use. No exceptions.
